Your back to school guide!
We’ve got you covered when it comes to travelling to and from school, with the new school term fast approaching, we’ve put together a simple guide to help ease your journey back to school.
Under 22’s travel for free
Young people and children are entitled to free bus travel in Scotland with a valid National Entitlement Card.
You can use your National Entitlement Card to travel anywhere in Scotland, however this excludes the use of sightseeing tour buses, premium-fare night buses & some airport transfer services. You must carry your card with you to allow you to travel for free, if you don’t have your N.E.C then you’ll be asked to pay the full fare.
If you haven’t already got your N.E.C you can apply for yours HERE. Parents, guardians or carers must apply for a National Entitlement Card on behalf of those between the ages of 5 to 15.
