  • 🚧 Roadworks on Charleston Drive (phase 1)

    Due to roadworks on Charleston Drive Road (between Earn Crescent and Dickson Avenue) for two weeks from Tuesday 20 September 2022 the 5 | 5s | 17 | 22 will be diverted as follows:

    The 5 towards Barnhill: Depart Ninewells Hospital, then via Kirsty Semple Way, Tom MacDonald Avenue, Perth Road and then normal route from Perth Road.

    The 5 towards Ninewells Hospital: Normal route to Perth Road, then via Perth Road, Tom MacDonald Avenue, Kirsty Semple Way and terminate at Ninewells Hospital.

    The 5s towards Harris Academy: Depart Spey Drive (on the opposite side from normal), then via Mallaig Avenue, South Road, Arran Drive, Charleston Drive, Dickson Avenue and then normal route from Glamis Road.

    The 5s towards Gowrie Park: Normal route to Glamis Road, then via Dickson Avenue, Charleston Drive, Arran Drive, South Road, Mallaig Avenue and terminate at Spey Drive.

    The 17 towards Whitfield: Normal route to Charleston Drive, then via Spey Drive, Mallaig Avenue, South Road and then normal route from South Road.

    The 17 towards Ninewells Hospital: Normal route to South Road, then via South Road, Mallaig Avenue, Spey Drive and then normal route from Charleston Drive.

    AMENDED DIVERSION WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT (Service 22 ONLY)

    The 22 towards Craigowl: Via Kirsty Semple Way, Tom Macdonald Avenue, Ninewells Avenue, Glamis Road, Elmwood Road, Charleston Drive, Dickson Avenue then Normal Route from Glamis Road.

    The 22 towards Ninewells Hospital: Normal route to Glamis Road then via Ninewells Avenue, Tom MacDonald Avenue, Kirsty Semple Way. ** For customers wishing to travel to Dickson Avenue please remain on the bus at Ninewells Hospital and you can disembark on the route going into City Centre.**
