McGill’s Buses, the UKs largest independent bus operator and Scottish Public Transport Operator of the Year 2022, are recruiting for time served, fully qualified PSV/HGV Mechanics to join our team in Dundee, based at our Xplore Dundee Depot.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a fast moving and forward-thinking company. We have an increasingly modern fleet and continue to expand on our journey to vehicle electrification, with circa 100 electric vehicles across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our vehicles are fit for purpose to meet daily peak vehicle requirement and service our passengers.
Product Knowledge Training will be provided as we replace our fleet, and we will tailor your training requirements to meet your needs and the needs of the business. This is carried out locally, meaning no days spent away from home, unless required.
The successful candidate will work with our team of engineers in a rotational work pattern covering all shifts to support our 24/7 maintenance facility and will work 40 hours per week working 5 days over 7.
