Service Tweaks from Monday 17 May 2021
In response to changing traffic volumes and passenger demand as lockdown lifts, we're keeping a close eye on our timetables to make sure they're fit for purpose. Over the summer, we plan to do lots of analysis on how things are moving out on the roads, to work out the most effective and reliable timetables in the longer-term. In the meantime, next week, we're making some smaller adjustments to a couple of services as follows:
Services 9/10 will no longer serve the terminus stop near Middleton Crescent in Claverhouse. Instead, they will turn use the turning circle near John Grahame Avenue.
Service 18 will enter the City Centre via Commercial Street (before continuing clockwise around the City Centre via Nethergate, Courthouse Square and Albert Square) during the day on weekdays. In the evening and at weekends, it will continue to come in by Ward Road first before heading down to Crichton Street.
Service 23 will resume using Barnes Avenue, but this will be subject to review as parking congestion remains a concern in that area (and in Woodside too). We will soon be beginning a community campaign for more considerate parking and for infrastructure improvements too.
Services 32/33 will terminate at Crichton Street C2 during the day on weekdays. In the evening and at weekends, it will continue terminating at Nethergate N1.
